First Friday on Main
First Friday on Main is sure to bring out the smiles with free snacks, games and fun activities and entertainment for the whole family. Come downtown on the first Friday of each month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. to enjoy music, movies, games and more. Website: www.visitoconee.com
Washington Farms
Pick your own berries at Washington Farms! In April and May, stop by to pick delicious strawberries and a grab a scoop of freshly made strawberry ice cream. Blackberries and blueberries will be ready to pick in June and July. Also enjoy outdoor fun with hay rides, a petting zoo and more. Website: www.washingtonfarms.net
Welcome Center Scavenger Hunt
Stop by the welcome center during the week and discover the hidden treasures of Oconee County. Our interactive scavenger hunt contains riddles and photo clues that are sure to keep the little ones busy and their brains charged. Website: www.visitoconee.com
Georgia Antebellum Bike Trail
Grab your bikes and take a family stroll along Georgia’s Antebellum Trail. Attractions in Watkinsville include the Eagle Tavern Museum, Ashford Manor Bed & Breakfast, the Historic Haygood House, and the Elder Mill Covered Bridge. Website: www.antebellumtrail.org
Thomas Orchards
