August 3 | BBQ Competition & Bake Off

When: August 3, 2024, 6:00pm-9:00pm

Where: Rocket Field in Downtown Watkinsville

Come down to Rocket field for Watkinsville’s BBQ Competition & Bake Off! Admission to the event is free, however, for all you can eat BBQ and baked goods the cost is $15/per adult and $8/per kids under 12. This event is a fundraiser and proceeds will be donated to Oconee based non-profit, Bethel Haven. Bring the whole family for a night of fun for everyone!

Deadline for competitor applications is 7/12/24!

May 18 | Oconee Farmer’s Market Barnyard Buddies

May 4 | Spring Pop-Up at the Farm

When: May 4, 2024, 12:00pm- 4:00pm

Where: Harris Shoals Park

Come shop for sustainably sourced interior items, fashions as well as home grown botanicals. Weather permitting we will be on the front porch and garden. Cash preferred but Venmo (and hopefully credit cards) ok as well with a 3% service fee.

Parking will be on the grass to the right of the driveway that goes around the brown barn in the back. Overflow parking will be at the Haygood House just down the street towards downtown.

May 4 | Oconee Library Family Fun Day

When: May 3, 2024, 10:00am

Where: Oconee County Library

Oconee Library Friends present FAMILY FUN DAY!! Planned activities include a petting zoo, fun crafts and games, music, demonstrations from Athens Fencing Club and Oconee Karate and Krav Maga, and a big prize walk. Don’t forget to pick up your Summer Reading Program Schedule! Free and for all ages.
